It's highly recommended that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date to avoid any issues with airlines or entry. The main airport serving Los Cabos is Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). Garza Blanca Resort is conveniently located about 38 miles (approximately a 40-minute scenic drive) from the airport, offering you lovely views as you make your way to relaxation!

While Uber is available for generally getting around Los Cabos (and can be very convenient!), please note that Uber drivers are generally not permitted to pick up directly from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) terminals. This means you'll need to arrange your airport transfer in advance. We highly recommend booking a shuttle service (private or shared) for a smooth and hassle-free ride to the resort (please refer to the "Travel" section for more information about booking airport transportation). Ubers are allowed to transport guests between Garza Blanca and destinations other than the airport. Taxis are also widely available but they do not accept credit card payments, cash only.

While we would love for everyone to stay with us at Garza Blanca, we understand our room block might not fit every situation. If you choose to stay at a nearby hotel or Airbnb, you are absolutely welcome to do so! However, you will not get discounted rates at any other hotels. Please be aware that guests not staying at Garza Blanca Resort will only have access to the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception areas. Once the reception concludes, we kindly ask that non-resort guests depart the venue. Thank you for your understanding!

NO!!! While the Garza Blanca Resort has a stunning beachfront, swimming directly in the ocean at the resort IS NOT PERMITTED OR SAFE due to strong undercurrents and rip tides that are common along many areas of the Los Cabos coastline. PLEASE, WE ASK THAT YOU DO NOT SWIM IN THE OCEAN at Garza! The good news is Los Cabos offers several designated public beaches that ARE safe for swimming! These include Medano Beach, Santa Maria Bay, Chileno Bay, Palmilla Beach, and Costa Azul Beach, all located on the calmer Sea of Cortez side. These are fantastic spots to enjoy a refreshing dip!
