Our Story
Zach and I met when we were both living in Long Beach NY in 2020. It was October, the well known Long Beach tradition of “Irish Day”. We happened to be at the same party when one of my roommates texted me that they needed a 4th person to play beer pong. I come to the table and see that Zach was going to be my partner. He was nice and conversation started, but we then lost every game we played together. Zach made sure to ask for my number before the end of the night. A week later we had our first date, taking Zach’s dog Bernie to the beach. Since then, we knew this was something special. We began officially dating at the end of October, right before Halloween.
Our relationship grew over our love of adventure, including snowboarding, hiking, and boating.
In June 2022, we adopted our dog Kai, and our little family had taken shape.
In October 2023, three years after Zach asked me to be his girlfriend, he asked me to marry him. On a trip to Shenandoah National Park, with Kai by our side.
