How far is the wedding venue from NYC?

Answer

Via I-87, driving takes approximately an hour and 30 minutes from Manhattan, and an hour and a 45 minutes from Brooklyn (with no traffic).

Is there a train that stops in Beacon?

Answer

Yes, the Hudson Line departs from Grand Central Terminal and stops in Beacon. Travel time is an hour and 30 minutes when running local, and an hour and 15 minutes when running express (no transfer necessary). The Beacon train station is only a 6 minute drive from the wedding venue.

Do guests have to stay at the hotels listed on the travel page?

Answer

Not at all. However, we have done our research - the Hilton and Marriott in Fishkill have the best reviews, are closest to the wedding venue, and are the most wallet-friendly. These are also the only two hotels that will have shuttle service to-and-from the venue. Our other suggestion is to book an Airbnb or Vrbo near by. We highly recommend guests book early (there will be other weddings happening in Beacon the same weekend). Lodging is limited and first come first serve.
