Hotel
This is one of our two room blocks we've secured (this is the one closest to the venue), and if enough people book a room, there will be a shuttle to the reception venue. We'll keep you updated once we know!
Hotel
This is one of a couple hotel blocks we'll have for guests interested in staying at a nearby hotel at a discounted rate. Depending on how much interest there is in this hotel, we might also be able to provide a shuttle from the hotel to the venue the evening of the event, but we'll let you know!
Travel Note
While we have reserved room blocks at those two hotels, there is no shortage of other hotel options in Geneva and the neighboring Chicago suburbs of St. Charles and Batavia. Other hotels include the Herrington Inn & Spa, Hotel Baker, Oscar Swan Country Inn, Fairfield Inn & Suites Chicago St. Charles, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chicago West- St. Charles and the Hilton Garden Inn St. Charles. There are also several properties on Airbnb and other vacation rental sites.
Train
Downtown Geneva is home to a Metra station, aka a station serving the Chicagoland area's commuter train system connecting the suburbs to the city. Geneva is on the Union Pacific West line, so if you're coming in from the city or another suburb and want to take the Metra, look for the abbreviation UP-W on the schedule.
Flight
Chicago has two main airports, and O'Hare is the largest, with the most options for out-of-state guests who will be flying in. If you arrive via O'Hare and want to head straight for Geneva, you can take an Uber, Lyft, or public transportation. For public transportation, head to the O'Hare Multi-Modal Facility to get on the 330 Archer/Harlem bus. You'll stay on for about 36 minutes and get off at the Mannheim/St. Charles stop and walk 8 minutes to the Bellwood train station, where you'll get on the Metra UP-W Elburn line and ride it for 10 stops before getting off at the Geneva stop.
Flight
Midway is the smaller of the two Chicago airports, and great for guests arriving via Southwest airlines (though Southwest recently started serving O'Hare as well). If you want to take public transportation from Midway to downtown Geneva, you can walk 8 minutes from the airport to the Midway L train (CTA) station where you'll get on the Orange Line headed toward the Loop. You'll get off at Harold Washington Library, where you'll transfer to the Pink Line headed toward 54th/Cermak. After four stops, you'll get off at the Clinton stop, then walk four minutes to Ogilvie Transportation Center. There, you'll take the Metra's UP-W Elburn line train to Geneva.
