Our first date at the slice house in Leonardtown, Md was love at first slice. We exchanged gifts, Miguel gifting a plant and Niki gifting homemade jam. Even though it was sprinkling outside, it was in both our nature to sit outside. Amid the banter there came a rainbow in the sky, little did we know that it was a sign from God that this is exactly where we were suppose to be. We talked until the sun went down and the place was starting to close their doors. By the end Miguel didn't take no for an answer, he wanted to meet up again the next day and at our favorite place, a plant nursery. As the seasons came and went, we continued to go on adventures near and far. Exploring all that we could from our first camping trip in Shenandoah to many trips in the mountains of West Virginia, across the country and through lakes, rivers and the Costa Rican ocean. After 2 1/2 years of adventure and dreaming of a Costa Rican getaway, Miguel proposed on an early morning walk along the rocky tide pools in Carrillo beach where we watched the sunset the night before in which a rainbow appeared during this picture perfect golden hour. After the many adventures together, we look forward to this next adventure and celebrating with our family and friends by our sides.
