Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is a "black-tie" affair!!! We ask that our gentlemen guests wear a BLACK suit (jacket/pants) & tie and that our lady guests wear a BLACK formal, floor length gown. *** All guests must wear BLACK attire! ***

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

September 1st!

Question

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in the RSVP card?

Answer

We invite you to RSVP online here at https://www.zola.com/wedding/nikiandlonnie or by the QR Code located on your invitation.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The doors to the venue will open one hour ahead of time at 3:00. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space and find a good seat ;-)

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place indoors on the 3rd floor, Dyer space. Cocktail hour will be held outdoors on the Cumberland Riverfront. The reception will be held indoors as well in two separate spaces; the dinner part of the reception will be located on the 1st floor, Cumberland space & the party (dancing) part of the reception will be located on the 3rd floor, Dyer space.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos or videos at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for about an hour or so. Guests can head straight to cocktail hour on the Cumberland Riverfront where you can mingle, drink, and enjoy some delicious hors d'oeuvres!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout the cocktail hour and reception.

Question

What type of food will be served at our wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. There will be a meat, fish, and vegetarian option available.

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes of course. If you have any restrictions please let us know in the designated section of your RSVP. We want you to feel comfortable and well fed!

Question

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Answer

All of our guests are invited to join us for a post-reception "white" party on Saturday, November 15th at 2pm. Call bride or groom for address.

Question

Where will wedding updates be posted?

Answer

Additional updates or changes that need your attention will appear on our wedding website homepage.
