Things To Do

There is SO much to do on maui, but here are a couple of our recommendations If you plan on spending more that a few days in maui we suggest getting the book Maui Reveled. Its full of the best hikes, sights and highlights of Maui.

Maui Ocean Center, The Aquarium of Hawaii

192 Maalaea Road, Wailuku, HI 96793
, (808) 270-7000

Great place for kids, they have new exhibits that come highly recommended

Hookipa Beach

HI 96708

Hookipa is great spot to check out the surfers and see the turtles on the beach! its just passed Paia, which also should be checked out. Paia has tons of great shops, restaurants and my favorite local store Mana Foods.

Haleakalā National Park

HI
(808) 572-4400

there are lots of hikes and great views up Haleakala. Check out the website, a popular thing to do is to be up at the top for sunrise, but it needs to be booked in advance. Bring a sweater it can be cold!

Kamaole Beach Park II

South Kihei Road, Kihei, HI 96753

We love all three Kamole Beach Parks, they are 3 of the nicest beaches on the island located in central Kihei. Usually with a small shore break they are good for snorkeling, children and putting in your stand up paddle board.

Bamboo forest stream & waterfall

Hawaii 360, Haiku, HI 96708

This is a super fun hike, not safe on rainy days, but for the adventurous you can hike to the top, jump in and swim up to a secluded waterfall at the top of the hike!

For all the days along the way
