Nik and Hannah met in late May of 2023 through (believe it or not) a dating website. They had their first date at a West Seattle bar called Corner Pocket. Nik saw Hannah walking out of a parking lot nearby and quickly changed directions, wanting to "meet" more organically. However, there was a live event happening next door to the bar and Hannah could not find the entrance. She stood there helpless and overwhelmed in a place that shouldn't exist ("West Seattle? What's west of downtown Seattle? The ocean???" "Hannah, that's not the ocean, that's the Puget Sound and West Seattle is slightly south-west of downtown") when all of a sudden, she sees her knight in shining armor that is Nikolas Turcinec. He led her into the bar, which led to a speakeasy, which led to walking around the area not wanting the date to end. Within a week, they were official and within 3 months, they moved in together and got a cat. Well, Nik got a cat since Hannah already had one. Right after their two-year anniversary, they went on a graduation trip with Nik's family to Costa Rica. On their first day there, Nik took Hannah on a private walk to the beach and on the way back, a lovely picnic spread with champagne had been set up. It was there that (through nerves, anticipation, and both of them somewhat blacking out from the intensity of the moment) they ended up engaged. Fast forward to present day, where they stay glued at each other's side, hopelessly in love, and awaiting The Big Day. They cannot wait to bring their families together and celebrate officially becoming Mr. & Mrs. Turcinec <3
