The countdown until our forever is on

We met at Zoie's work at the police station. Nii had come to film a story with Fox 25 and Zoie as the new rookie got voluntold to be the one that got filmed. As soon as Nii walked in the room, Zoie was in awe, and the public information officer decided to get Nii's number for Zoie and told Nii that Zoie would text by 1830. Zoie got nervous and embarrassed, so her coworker sent the first text that Nii received. They went on their first date at axe throwing not long after, and the rest is history, but you could say it was love at first sight for Zoie!

It started out as a normal Tuesday morning for Zoie. Nii was in town visiting and had said that night that they were going to go and recreate their first date. Zoie's best friends Ali and Kezzy told her that they wanted to help her get ready so that they could all take pictures when we got back from our date. Zoie didn't think much of it and continued to get ready. Their first stop was at axe throwing, which is where their first date was. Next, they went and got sushi. After they ate, Nii told Zoie how they were going to do a movie marathon when they got home, but before they got into town, Nii pulled over at the post office and told Zoie to put a blindfold on and don't take it off until he said too. When the car stopped and Nii got Zoie out of the car, Zoie could hear their song playing in the background. When Nii took her blindfold off, Zoie noticed it was dark and could only see him. He told her how much he loved her and got down on one knee. Zoie said yes, and the lights flipped on and party cannons popped. Zoie saw all of their family and friends and was in such shock and awe to see everyone and to know that Nii planned all of that for her!
