How do I get to Addis?

Answer

The best way to travel to Addis internationally is via Ethiopian Airlines, since its the only airliner that offers direct flights from multiple locations. For our US travelers, there are daily flights from Dulles International. Buckle-up! flights are 12 plus hours long but we promise it will be worth it. You can try other airliners if you rather have a couple of hours of layovers in Europe or Egypt(via Egypt Air).

What are the COVID related requirements to travel to Ethiopia?

Answer

Ethiopia requires travelers to present a negative COVID-19 test before boarding a flight. The test must be: PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point Rapid Antigen Test taken at most 24 hours before departure from first embarkation point Children under 12 are exempt from testing requirements.

Yes! It's unbecoming for an Ethiopian to just give a single invite:) But, seriously , yes! come with your plus one.

Is Addis Safe?

Answer

Let's just say if you have walked in the streets of DC or NYC after 8 pm, you will be perfectly fine in Addis. The standard basic precautions are a must. Please email us for any security related concerns, we will try to give as much details as possible.

Yes! We suggest you do it via one of the many tour agencies.

We love kids. But, we want you to take the evening off. No kids to this event.

Answer

Yes, we have a honeymoon fund and a couple of items on our registry. We prefer experiences versus material items so your gift can also help us offset the cost of our honeymoon and other future adventures. If you have other types of gifts in mind, please message us directly for delivery instructions.
