Not long after we both began new adventures in Chicago, fate (and maybe a little bit of timely swiping on Hinge) led us to an Irish pub for our first date. We sat at the bar that night talking and laughing over pints of Smithwick’s (Lucas’ first!) until they closed the place down around us. From that very first night, we knew there was something special. In the years since, we’ve built a life together around our shared (and ever-growing) love of sour candy, NYT crosswords, competition reality TV, and, of course, our favorite sidekick, Rory. The rest, as they say, is history—and we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with you!
