Matron of Honor
Josie is Delaney's sister. While there is a 6 year age difference, Josie has been there for Delaney always. Whether it be stealing cloths and racing to get the chores done before mom got home. While she lives 5 hours away, when they get together it is like no time has passed. Delaney was Josie's Maid of Honor in her wedding, and Delaney can't wait for her to be apart of hers.
Bridesmaid
Lauren is Delaney's childhood friend. They have pictures dating back to daycare. While life removes and brings friends together, Lauren has been a steady and reliable friend. We keep each other balanced. The friendship we have created is something I could never imagine without. To have her stand up with us on our day means so much to us, as she has seen Delaney grow as a person and the relationship of Cody and Delaney grow from the start.
Bridesmaid
Jennifer was brought into Delaney's life by the other bridesmaid Lauren about 5 years ago. She completes the friend group in the perfect way. Always up for an adventure and always is able to make us laugh. Almost every week you will find Lauren, Delaney and Jen meeting at someone's house for food and to binge watch a show. These memories are what is important and can't wait to make more with her next to us at our wedding.
Bridesmaid
Melissa is a long term friend who was one of the first people to know about Cody and Delaney's relationship. While their friendship was mild at the beginning through mutual friends. Her husband Derek and Cody's was not new. She keeps any conversation going and is a wonderful caring person. We can't imagine not having her by my side with how supportive and happy she was to hear we were dating and to watch our relationship grow.
Best Man
As you can tell by the last name Wes is Cody's brother. Some may mistake him for his younger brother but let us assure you he is the older one. When the time came to decide who to ask to be the Best Man it was obvious. Wes and Cody have grown from picking on each other and trying to drown each other at the lake into a more mellow relationship where big brother doesn't even try to start a wrestling match. They have been there for each other through the years even though they live pretty far from each other. Not much more you can say besides the fact that even though they somewhat grew up separate he's one of people Cody is closest to.
Groomsman
Derek and Cody have known each other for well over a decade. They may have gone to high school together but didn't associate much with different friend groups (as we all have gone through). When they both started working at the parts store back in the late 2000's (wow that seems like forever ago) the friendship grew. Cody and Derek started to hang out more after work and they (Derek and his wife Melissa) took him in as an outside family member it seemed. Its been fun for us to watch Derek and Melissa become old farts (just kidding) and watching the kids become just like their parents as teenagers. Needless to say what started out as a coworker friendship has turned into some our closest friends.
Groomsman
Aaron and Cody met while he was in his 2nd year at Stout. Both preparing to fail a Math 121 (pre-calc) final they happened to sit next to each other when they both noticed that they were into motorsports. Swapping facebook info and phone numbers after the final they started to hang out more and eventually moved in a few years later where Cody would introduce Aaron's now wife Johna. Aaron was always up for a good roadtrip to grab a snowmobile and was always game for wing night along with some peanuts races at the local watering hole was definitely one of the closest college friends at the time. Once graduated Aaron kept close contact with Cody and every year always manage to find a handful of weekends to lose some golf balls in a pond or float around on the pontoon at their family cabin.
Groomsman
Chris is one of Cody's oldest friends. They have known each other since early high school. Both being into motorsports or anything that burns fuel it was a no brainer that they were two peas in a pod. From messing with peoples vehicles during autos class to walking around in 95 degree weather at haydays these two always knew how to have a good time. Even though they don't keep in close contact like they may have in years past when they do get together for a beer or a captain there is no shortage of conversation or reminiscing of the past.
