Some call it coincidence, others call it fate. We like to think it was a little bit of both — with a sprinkle of perfect timing and a mutual friend (who definitely deserves a thank-you gift) our paths crossed, and we have never looked back. Before we even went on our first date, our second one was already on the calendar. A bold move that turned out to be one of our best decisions. From that very first date, we were inseparable. Everyone around us could tell this was something special, and honestly, we knew it too. We both knew we’d caught lightning in a bottle; something rare, effortless, and real and we never wanted to let it go. Since then, life together has been one adventure after another. We bought our first home and quickly learned that if our love can survive home renovation projects, we can make it through anything life throws at us. We adopted the sweetest (and most spoiled) kitten, who now runs the house and somewhere between fire calls and lesson plans, we’ve mastered the art of juggling chaos, caffeine, and love. Fate may have brought us together, but love and a whole lot of humor will make it last forever. Now, we can’t wait to begin our next chapter as husband and wife and continue writing the chapters in our very own romance novel.
