Flight
LAX is the best option to fly into. You can walk or take the shuttle to the designated rideshare area called "LAX-IT", located at the entrance of the airport, or take a shuttle to your rental car. You can also fly into Burbank (BUR) if it's easier for you to get there, though it is a bit farther.
Hotel
We secured a hotel block at The Shay in Culver City, which is 9 mi from LAX and 1 mi from our venue. Right outside the hotel you have a brewery, a coffee shop, poke spot, yoga and core workout studios and The Platform (shops and restaurants) across the street. It is also close to many of our favorite places in Downtown Culver City and the Culver City Arts District, and steps away from the Metro station. If you need any recommendations, let us know! You can also look at airbnbs/vrbos - areas we recommend are: Culver City, Mar Vista, Palms, Del Rey, Playa Vista, Westchester, Venice or Marina del Rey. El Segundo and Manhattan Beach are also good options but a little farther from our venue. If you are having trouble finding a place, please contact us!
Travel Note
LA is pretty spread out, so you will be spending time in a car if you plan on exploring parts of LA outside of the neighborhood where you are staying. There are plenty of rideshare options via Uber/Lyft so it's ultimately up to you and whether you'd prefer to drive. LAX has a number of rental car options available. We recommend Uber/Lyft for getting to and from our wedding weekend events, especially if you are drinking. Please let us know if you are planning on driving to our wedding!
