No, the wedding will be in English given that many of our friends are not from here <3

Is there a dresscode?

Answer

Wear whatever makes you happy and what is comfy. For us, the day will be all about a relaxed, summery, and fun vibe (officially: ''mediterranean chic''). Therefore, think bright colours, light fabrics, summer suits. You can check this Pinterest mood board for inspiration: https://pin.it/9VKuT9dWN We only kindly ask our guests to not wear black or white (white shirt for men is OK). A few practical notes: - Sun protection: If the Dutch weather gods are kind to us, we’ll be outdoors most of the day. Some areas will have (full) shade, but we do recommend bringing sunglasses and sunscreen. - Heels: friendly warning for all women! There is gravel paths and lots of grass so re-think the stiletto heels. You're welcome :) - Sneakers: Bring a pair for the dance floor - Layers: This isn’t Italy (unfortunately), so pack a light sweater or jacket for the evening

Can we make pictures and videos?

Of course! However, we ask you to keep your phone off and in your pocket during the ceremony. We have a great photographer present and it is much nicer to just enjoy the moment :)

Can I park at the venue?

Answer

Yes, Slot Doddendael has its own (free) parking lot with plenty of parking spaces. The parking lot is located a 100 metres further than Slot Doddendael. It is also possible to leave the car at the parking lot overnight.

Where can we stay?

We have made some suggestions under the Travel tab. Take into account that it will be mid-summer and prices are higher because of that. Feel free to search for other possibilities yourself, such as an Airbnb option.

Is travel to and from the wedding venue arranged?

Yes, we will arrange a bus for guests staying in Nijmegen to and from the wedding location
