We swiped right on each other and matched on Tinder. We both were still in college not looking for a relationship but we hit it off instantly! Our first time hanging out we watched a movie and talked all night until 3am. It all happened so naturally. Our first official date was at Himawari Ramen in downtown San Mateo and of course...if you know Sho he wanted to eat all my food LOL! We spent time together inseparable everyday since then and just knew it had to be something more than just a fling. He asked me to be his girlfriend on December 22, 2014. It just worked out. We both got along with each other's family and friends so organically.

In the beginning of the pandemic March 2020, Sho and Danielle went to Oahu for the week of her birthday. Sho asked both of Danielle's parents for her hand in marriage and planned this trip to Hawaii. Little did she know in March 21, 2020 (her birthday) Sho got down on one knee and proposed at this beautiful beach on the North Shore of Oahu at Sunset Beach right before the sun went down.
