Our ceremony will take place on the East Lawn behind the Robert McCormick House, located at 1 S 151 Winfield Rd, Wheaton, IL. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Upon arrival, you’ll find signs near the parking lot to guide you to the ceremony location. The entrance is through the Visitor's Center. We recommend arriving early, as the walk to the site takes approximately 10 minutes. The path is scenic and offers beautiful garden views along the way. Yes! Cantigny will provide a tram service beginning 45 minutes before the ceremony and operating until the ceremony starts. Afterward, the tram will run for an additional 30 minutes. The tram accommodates up to 7 passengers per trip and takes about 15 minutes to reach the ceremony location. The tram will pick up guests in front of the Visitor Center, where you'll find a sign marking the East Lawn Tram Assistance.
Our reception is located at the Woodside Pavillion at Cantigny Golf- 27W270 Mack Rd, Wheaton, IL 60189. Cocktail hour will begin at 5pm, with the reception officially beginning at 6pm. Although both the ceremony and reception are on the Cantigny grounds, they are not within walking distance of each other. It is about a 5 minute drive from the ceremony location. Transportation will be provided, but you are more than welcome to drive to and from if you choose.
Parking is free for our guests! When you enter Cantigny Park, simply let the parking attendant know you're there for the Nieland/Dwyer Wedding, and they will direct you through. Please park in the North Parking Lot. Additional parking is available at the Woodside Pavilion for the reception.
Absolutely! We have a block of hotel rooms reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn for our wedding weekend. Please visit the Travel tab on our website to book your stay.
Yes, a bus will be provided for guests staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. The bus will transport guests from the hotel to the ceremony location. After the ceremony, it will take guests to the reception and will also return guests to the hotel at the end of the night.

Cantigny Park is a 500-acre public park in Wheaton, Illinois, once the estate of Colonel Robert R. McCormick, longtime Chicago Tribune editor and member of the U.S. Army’s First Division. The park features museums, beautiful Cantigny Gardens, Cantigny Golf, and walking trails.
