Question

Do I need a passport to travel to Mexico?

Answer

Yes! A valid passport is required for entry into Mexico. Please make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. If you need to renew, we recommend doing so as soon as possible as processing times can be lengthy.

When should I arrive?

Answer

Our celebrations kick off the evening of October 1st, so we ask that you plan to arrive by the morning of October 1st at the latest. Our group room block rates extend 3 days on either side of the main dates (October 1–3), so the full discounted window runs September 27th–October 7th. While our room block starts September 30th, our events begin October 1st. If you're more comfortable flying in on October 1st, that works perfectly. Simply book starting on whatever date you plan to arrive! We'd love for you to make a vacation out of it!

How do I book my room?

Answer

Head to our Travel tab for all the details! You'll book directly through the Palladium website using our group passkey code GPKSACMKALGA to access our exclusive rates. Please book by July 15, 2026 to guarantee your spot. A friendly reminder: rooms in our block are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend booking as soon as you know you'll be joining us! Once our room block fills up, any remaining availability will be at standard rates through the hotel's website.

Question

How do I book a room if I want to arrive before September 30th or stay after October 4th?

Answer

The booking website will only show our main room block dates (Sept 30–Oct 4). If you'd like to arrive earlier or stay later, please go ahead and book Sept 30–Oct 4 first through the website using our group code. Then, email our travel concierge team at travelconcierge.1@destinationpick.com with the additional dates you'd like. Please include our names (Nidhia Kalaparambath & Pranav Gaddameedi) and your booking confirmation number so they can locate your reservation quickly. Our room block rates extend from September 27th through October 7th (subject to availability), so we encourage everyone to book as soon as you know you're coming!

Question

What if people in my room have different arrival or departure dates?

Answer

For example, if parents are arriving earlier in the week and kids are joining later but sharing the same room, please reach out to us directly and we'll help coordinate that for you! Don't try to manage that through the booking website as it may cause confusion with your reservation.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! The Grand Palladium is very family friendly with a kids' club, water park, and tons of activities for little ones. Children under 2 stay free. Ages 3–12 are charged at 50% of the adult rate when booking.

Can I book through a third party like Expedia or Hotels.com?

Answer

Please don't! Rooms booked through third party websites will not be counted within our wedding group block, which means you may not have access to our group events and functions. Always book directly through the link and passkey code on our Travel page to make sure you're part of the group.

How does payment work for my room?

Answer

When you book your room a non-refundable 20% deposit will be charged at the time of reservation. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the same card 60 days before arrival, around August 2, 2026. Make sure the card you use to book stays valid through your arrival date!

What payment methods are accepted at the resort?

Answer

The resort accepts Mastercard and Visa credit and debit cards for room bookings. American Express is accepted for purchases at the hotel but not for room reservations. Personal checks and PayPal are not accepted.

What is included in the all-inclusive package?

Answer

Pretty much everything! All meals, unlimited drinks at any of the 20+ bars and restaurants, daily activities, entertainment, pools, beach access, fitness center, tennis courts, and Wi-Fi are all included. The only things not covered are spa treatments, certain premium experiences like Le Petit Chef and the CHIC Cabaret dinner show, airport transfers (don't worry, we've got your shuttle covered!), and personal items like gift shop purchases.

Is there a shuttle from the airport?

Answer

Yes! We are providing a complimentary shuttle for all wedding guests directly from Cancún International Airport (CUN) to the resort. Please fill out the flight information form on our Travel page so we can coordinate your pickup. More details on timing will be shared closer to the date.

What is the weather like in early October?

Answer

Expect warm, tropical weather temperatures typically sit around 85°F (29°C) with plenty of sunshine. Pack light, breathable clothing and lots of sunscreen!

Is there a minimum stay requirement to get the group rate?

Answer

Yes! To qualify for our group rate, guests must stay a minimum of 3 nights during the main event dates of October 1–4, 2026. If you're planning a shorter stay you're still more than welcome to join us, but just keep in mind the group rate may not apply and standard hotel rates would be offered instead.

Can I extend my stay at the group rate?

Answer

Yes! Our contracted group rate is available for 3 days before and 3 days after the main event dates, subject to availability. Just use the same booking link and passkey code on our Travel page. Extensions must be booked at least 30 days before arrival.

What currency is used in Mexico?

Answer

The local currency is the Mexican Peso, but since the resort is all-inclusive you won't need much cash on property. US dollars are widely accepted at the resort for any extras. We recommend having some pesos on hand if you plan to explore beyond the resort.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Answer

Check-in is at 3:00pm and check-out is at 12:00pm!

What if I need to cancel my room?

Answer

We get it, life happens! Cancellation fees are based on how close to the arrival date you cancel. Through June 2, 2026 one night per cancelled room will be charged at the contracted rate. From June 3rd through August 1, 2026 that increases to two nights per cancelled room. After August 2, 2026 the full stay becomes non-refundable. If you have any questions about your specific reservation, don't hesitate to reach out to us directly.

What happens if I check out early or don't show up?

Answer

Unfortunately no-shows and early departures are fully non-refundable, the full cost of your reserved stay will be charged regardless. If your plans change we strongly recommend reaching out to the hotel as soon as possible!
