Despite being from the same town and both attending the University of Texas at Austin at the same time, their paths somehow never crossed. However that all changed in 2021. One winter night in Austin, TX, what started as a spontaneous hangout at Velvet Taco between two stressed graduate students became something magical. In 2021, they spent every month making memories between Austin and Dallas. One year flew by, and Salman surprised Nida with her dream proposal - right in the middle of a gazebo by the lake at The Contemporary in Austin. Months later, their Islamic marriage ceremony was celebrated on May 28th. Since then, they've been inseparable - unfortunately, not literally. In order to pursue their career dreams, Salman moved to Florida and Nida moved to Chicago. However, despite living thousands of miles apart, their love for life and each other continues to unite them. Now with March of 2023 coming up, Nida and Salman would love for you to join their family and friends for the biggest celebration yet. With so many guests coming from outside of Austin, we have hotels and sites to see listed on our website.
