Our Story

Nick and Nicole met while working at Staples in 2011. They were introduced in the break room when Nick was completing his trainings and Nicole was having lunch. A few days later Nick waved hello to Nicole in the parking lot and she completely dismissed him, not realizing he was her new coworker since he wasn't in uniform. Despite that very awkward encounter, overtime Nick and Nicole began hanging out during lunch breaks, texting and hanging out in groups. Fun fact, Nick was really bad at up-selling overpriced printers so Nicole would give all her sales to Nick so he could meet his quotas.

The two would both get teased from other coworkers about how obvious it was that they both liked each other but neither would make the first move. Eventually Megan Midgley (bridesmaid) got annoyed and stepped in to make the first move for both of them. Since then, Nick and Nicole have spent most of their time surrounded by their families and friends. Nick and Nicole have went on many trips to together from local getaways to big trips like Italy and Japan.

Nick and Nicole celebrated their 7th anniversary together this past December and decided to take some time off together that week. Nicole was expecting the proposal to take place on their anniversary and impatiently waited all week for Nick to pop the question. On a day where Nicole had least expected the proposal to take place, Nick took Nicole to a park where the two first started their relationship and finally asked the big question.

After deciding to postpone our original wedding plans, we went with Plan B and eloped on our original wedding date. The wedding took place at Terrain in Glen Mills, PA with our immediate family and our bridal party. We can't wait to celebrate our marriage with everyone in 2021!
