September 2014, Josh spotted Nicole at their dads' gig. Three months later, he finally got her phone number. Christmas Eve, Nicole and Josh had their first date at Ethos Greek Bistro at the Promenade in Coconut Creek. They sat and talked so long, an anonymous patron must've realized they were smitten and paid their bill.

Fast forward three years, Josh contacts Ethos to arrange his proposal to Nicole on Christmas Eve. They sat at the same table and when the check came, Josh said, "Someone paid our bill." When he showed the check to Nicole, he had hand written, "Will You Marry Me?"
