Flight
The nearest airport is Milan Malpensa (MXP) which is served by most international airlines. Also nearby is Milan Linate (LIN) and both are around a 45 minute drive away. From the airport you could take the train or get a car service to Lake Como. PASSPORT REMINDER: To enter Italy, your passport must be valid for at least six months from your arrival date.
Hotel
We will be staying at this hotel for our stay in Lake Como. The dinner reception will also take place at this hotel. Please note, you are welcome to book an Airbnb, VRBO, etc., however please make sure they are located close by the wedding venue, which is Villa Monastero in Varenna, Italy (Lombardia region) on Lake Como.
Travel Note
Please note that taxis are very limited in Lake Como and ride sharing apps are not available. We highly recommend booking car services in advance either through your hotel or privately.
Train
If you'd like to take a train to Varenna there are constant trains available from the airport to Como. MXP connects directly to Milano Centrale Railway station. You can use this website link to find other train routes as well!
