Taking an Architecture River Cruise is one of the best ways to see Chicago on a nice day. These tours were a favorite activity when friends would visit us. There are plenty of other companies that run tours, so if Wendella is booked, look up another company!
Grant Park houses "The Bean", beautiful gardens, an amphitheater(with free summer concerts frequently taking place), roller skating, mini golf, rock climbing, and backs up to the lake. A great place to walk or bike around and enjoy a nice day.
Divvy bikes were one of the main modes of transportation for us as Chicago is so flat and bikeable. Using the Lyft or Uber App, check out a Divvy or Uber bike and ride along the lakefront trail!
Catch an improv comedy show at the famous Second City.
A nice activity if the weather is subpar.

Renting a duffy boat is a great way to enjoy summer weather in Chicago with friends.
The Riverwalk is the spot to be on a nice day. Enjoy food, drinks, music, or simply people-watching! People gravitate toward this area after work when the sun is out.
Chicago has many beaches, our favorite spots were: North Avenue Beach, the Belmont Rocks, and Montrose Beach
Get here early, it's a pretty popular activity! There's a little bar/restaurant right outside if there is a wait.
