Nicole and Jeff met early in their time in college at the University of Georgia. They were both musicians whose bands happened to play shows at the same venue one night. Their mutual friend Sara introduced them, but it was a busy night, and Athens is a big town for a small town. They didn't end up getting to know each other until a couple years later, when they were reintroduced by friends at a weekly trivia night at Transmetropolitan Pizza. They fell in love, and have spent nearly ten years together in Georgia and New York. They're excited to celebrate their marriage with you all.

In 2012 Jeff and Nicole moved to Brooklyn, NY. Jeff began a career as an illustrator and animator, while Nicole worked as an art director at a handful of ad agencies. They lived, as most New Yorkers do, in a tiny apartment that they hated and loved, with their dog, Willow, and cat, Nora. The years in New York were filled with wonderful friends, old and new, and delicious food. So much delicious food. Southerners at heart, they also relished the chance to occasionally get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. They spent many weekends exploring beautiful upstate New York where, after a morning of apple picking, they got engaged while hiking near New Paltz. They returned to Georgia late in 2018 to plant some roots and be closer to their families.
