Question

What about COVID-19?

Answer

We are moving forward with our wedding as planned, and hope that by May the spread of COVID-19 will be under control. The health and safety of our guests is of the utmost importance to us, and our venue and vendors will abide by the most up to date St. Louis City guidelines. We plan to hold our ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors (weather permitting), and have limited our guest count to allow for social distancing while indoors. Hand sanitizer stations will be set up throughout the venue, and masks must be worn indoors when not eating or drinking. If you have any additional questions about the COVID precautions in place, please reach out to the bride or groom.

Question

What if I am not feeling well the week of the wedding?

Answer

If you test positive for COVID-19, believe you have been in contact with someone who has, or show symptoms of the virus, we kindly ask that you do not attend, and notify the bride or groom as soon as possible.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We plan to begin the ceremony promptly at 5:30pm, and doors to the venue will open at 5pm. We recommend trying to arrive 15-20 minutes early so you have plenty of time to find your seat.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

We want everyone to look their best, so we recommend semi-formal or cocktail attire. However, please keep in mind that a portion of the evening will take place outdoors, so be sure to check the weather!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we wish we could accommodate everyone, our guest count is currently limited to abide by St. Louis City COVID guidelines. Unless your invitation specifies a plus one, please do not bring extra guests.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love kids, but we want our wedding to be your night off to celebrate with us! However, if you are unable to attend without bringing your children, please contact the bride or groom to check if they can be accomodated.

Question

Is there parking at the venue? Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

Yes, a free, secure parking lot is located directly across the street from the McPherson. Only guests of our wedding will be permitted to park there. Vehicles are allowed to be left overnight, but must be picked up by 10AM Sunday. Please lock your doors and do not leave valuables in your vehicles.

Question

How can I get from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

If you are staying at the Doubletree Hilton Forest Park, the hotel has a complimentary shuttle that is operated on a first come, first serve basis. If the shuttle is not available, you should be able to easily catch a ride using Uber or Lyft. If you are feeling ambitious, it is around a 15 minute walk.
