The 'Taste of Charlotte' street festival will be occurring the weekend of the wedding on Tryon Street outside of The Mint Museum. We caution guests to allot extra time for drop off/parking as the street will be closed.

Is there a dress code?

The dress code is Black Tie Optional: Ladies: Formal attire is appropriate (fancy cocktail dresses/gowns/long dresses/dressy jumpsuits preferred). Gentlemen: Black tie is appropriate (tuxedos/dark suits and ties preferred)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be at The Mint Museum. We encourage using Uber or Lyft so you can enjoy the party responsibly! However, paid parking is available at several parking garages near the venue. Below are two recommendations: -The Levine Center for the Arts Parking Garage: 130 West Brooklyn Village Ave, Charlotte, NC 28202 -The Green Parking Garage: Entrances at 431 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28202 or 435 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28202

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 pm. We ask that you arrive and be seated at least 15 minutes before.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we love all of the children in our lives, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event (21 and older).

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Please view our travel section of the website for the 4 hotel room block suggestions. While we chose these 4 options that are close to the venue, Charlotte has many other great accommodations near-by!
