Nicole and Bill both attended Shaler Area High School and graduated in the class of 2015. BUT that's not where they first met! Nicole took dance classes at Jeffery Elementary School near Bill's house before she even attended Shaler. Nicole came from St. Bonaventure, where she was in school from pre-school until eighth grade, whereas Bill attended Shaler his whole life. Bill was with his friend- and Nicole's neighbor- Ken. Ken introduced his neighbor to Bill and Bill claims he fell in love with Nicole on the spot! Bill always had a crush on Nicole in high school, but she wasn't interested in him at the time. ;) (Bill still gets mad at Nicole for this lol) They remained friends and messaged on social media while Bill was on deployment in Japan and Nicole was in college at John Carroll University. Nicole's family would even mail Bill letters and care packages while he was away! One trip home, Bill had to fly out of Cleveland since Pittsburgh did not have any flights with his needed destination. Bill asked to stay the night at Nicole's college house with her roomies, and head to the CLE airport from there. Here, Bill met Mack and Jess, who claimed right after Bill left that 'Nicole was going to marry him'. Everyone knew but Nicole! Once he was close to finishing his time in the Navy, Bill knew he would return back to Pittsburgh. He was determined to make Nicole his girlfriend and was incredibly excited to come home and pursue her. With their family homes only being 4 minutes apart, they were able to hang out again a lot! Nicole and Bill started their official relationship long distance, while Nicole was in Allentown for graduate school. This September, they will be together for 5 years, but it feels like forever since they have known each other for almost 10 years. S/O to Bill for never giving up and pursuing Nicole! Look at us now, getting MARRIED!!!! :D
