As we all know, this year has presented many challenges: unforeseen deaths, career transitions, and of course an international pandemic. Coronavirus is forcing us to pivot in many ways and that includes our wedding plans. In an effort to limit exposure, we will proceed with an intimate ceremony for immediate family and very few guests. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate this journey. We hope to celebrate with all of our loved ones at a later date.
In 2018 during Jamaican Independence, we met at a local neighborhood party in TopHill, Manchester Parish. We both thought nothing of it, but a year later in 2019, we wound up at the same party. This time, we danced and exchanged numbers. Days later, after consistent texting, we had our first date. Long after the date ended, we found ourselves sitting outside talking until dawn. It was then that we knew, it would be our last first date.
