Are kids allowed at this event?

Answer

No, children are not allowed at this event even though we love them dearly.

Are outside beverages allowed at our venue?

Answer

NO!!! Outside food and beverages are not allowd on the property at all. The only exception to this is breast milk.

Is smoking allowed at the venue?

Answer

There is a cigar lounge area provided for all smoking, but it must be behind the railing.

Is marijuana allowed at the venue?

Answer

NO!!! There is no smoking or vaping of marijuana on the property of our venue. Guests who smoke or vape marijuana will be asked to leave.

What time does the event start?

Answer

The social hour will be from 5-6pm. The ceremony starts at 6pm. Dinner and Dancing will follow. All guests will leave by 11pm.

What is the dress code?

Please wear what makes you comfortable for the occasion. The social hour and ceremony will be outside!!!

Are there hotel rooms available for this event?

Answer

Yes. We have a block of rooms available at Stoney Creek Hotel from August 7-10, 2025 in Independence, MO. All reservations must be made by July 7, 2025.

When are the RSVPs due?

Answer

RSVP's are due no later than June 30. We can only have 100 guests. We have a waiting list of people to replace those who can't make it.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Sorry, no plus ones for this event. We are trying to get our guest list from 150 to 100 guests. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

No, we do not have a gift registry since we've been married for nearly 25 years. We are planning a honeymoon and would prefer monetary gifts towards that fund. Our cash app is $thewalkers0805

Social hour is optional, but we would love to have you there. Please be seated by 5:50 pm for the ceremony.
