You could say we met the old-fashioned way - at one of our favorite waterfront spots, Red's Ice House on Shem Creek in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Man's best friend proved true for Troy, as a little help from a friend's golden doodle provided the perfect chance to introduce himself. As it turns out, Troy's interest was piqued by more than just the puppy at the table.

Proposing on one of the bridesmaid's birthday's was one of the best excuses Troy could have used for a surprise proposal. From the "birthday" party to the "let's get dressed up for Kate's birthday" cues, Nicole never saw it coming, thinking all the to-do was simply birthday related. With a little help from a few friends in on the secret, an afternoon at the nail salon, and a favorite white dress, Nicole found herself in front of Troy down on one knee in a unforgettable stunning waterfront proposal. After a few golden hour shots beneath the oak trees and Spanish moss, Troy and Nicole were able to enjoy the occasion with many of their friends at their favorite wine bar in Downtown Charleston.
