Things To Do

Check out some of our favorite places to eat and hang out!

TAPITIO

6920 Coal Creek Parkway Southeast, #1, Newcastle, WA 98059
, (425) 747-0477

If you ever ask the Wall family to go out for dinner I can guarantee that you'll end up at Tapitio. The Wall's go there so much that all Tina has to do is text George (a server) to save her a table and he automatically knows to bring her a jumbo skinny margarita with salt. So if you can't get a table, just text Tina!

O'Char Thai

1802 12th Avenue Northwest, Issaquah, WA 98027
, (425) 557-9930

Since the Gevers are all part Indonesian they LOVE their Thai food. Fun fact, Nicole never before tired Thai food before meeting Trey and now were are all obsessed together. A few recommendations would be the chicken pad thai, beef pad se ew, chicken pineapple fried rice (TRUST US), and chicken panang curry.

Portage Bay Cafe

391 Terry Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98109
, (206) 462-6400

Hands down one of the best breakfast places you can go to in Seattle. Before COVID happened they offered a fruit and whipped cream bar where you can pile as much as you liked on to your pancakes or waffles.

520 Bar & Grill

10146 Main Street, Bellevue, WA 98004
, (425) 450-0520

Looking for a nicer place to eat. 520 bar and grill has great happy hour options! Typically there is a wait during the weekends but old main is a great place to walk around and explore.

Downtown Kirkland

Lake st, Kirkland, WA 98033

If you're looking to walk around a cute lively town along the water side. I would definitely recommend going to down town Kirkland. There are so many boutiques to shop around, coffee shops, lunch places, gelato, and even a macaroon store. Our favorite thing to do in Kirkland is to park away from downtown and walk along the beach side until we reach the shops.

Fall City Floating

4101 Fall City-Carnation Road Southeast, Fall City, WA 98024
, (844) 831-0448

If you're looking for a little outdoor adventure floating down the river and be so fun yet so relaxing. It takes roughly around 2 hours to float so plan accordingly. They charge $25 per tube on the weekends and they can get pretty busy so be there earlier than later. Make sure to pack drinks and sunscreen!

Mercer Island Thrift Shop

7710 Southeast 34th Street, Mercer Island, WA 98040
, (206) 275-7760

Love to thrift? This is the cutest thrift store on Mercer Island! After you're done take a drive around the island and if you get hungry HomeGrown is the BEST for lunch!

Meydenbauer Bay Beach Park

419 98th Avenue Northeast, Bellevue, WA 98004
, (425) 452-6914

If you're looking for a fun lake day we would recommend Meydenbauer. It is newly built and they offer REI rentals for a fee such as kayaks and stand up paddle boards. However, if you would rather lay out in the sun we would recommend the Clyde beach park down the road or the beach in Downtown Kirkland.

For all the days along the way
