Apple Valley Golf Course

Apple Valley is the rarest of layouts. Routed through the Blue Ridge foothills surrounding scenic Lake Lure, this course is everything you want in a Western North Carolina mountain setting. Golf course architect Dan Maples, son of famed Ellis Maples, designed Apple Valley with the vast majority of holes playing either level or downhill. Stretching to 6,800 yards from the tips, it has hosted numerous championships and tournaments. With five sets of tees starting at 4,617 yards and subtle green complexes with gently undulating greens, Apple Valley is also eminently playable.

Bald Mountain Golf Course

Rated one of the top courses in North Carolina by Golf Channel’s Golf Advisor, Bald Mountain was designed by George Cobb (architect of the par-3 course at Augusta National) protégé W.B. Lewis. Checking in at just over 6,300 yards, it is one of the only courses in the region featuring five par 3s and five par 5s. That includes both an opening and closing three-shotter, the 496-yard first hole and 479-yard 18th. Bald Mountain is the ideal complement to Apple Valley offering a decidedly different, yet unforgettable, golf experience.

Boat Rentals Please note our rentals are for members and lodging guests only. Pontoon Boats – 10 passengers $200 for two hours $350 for four hours $650 for eight hours Dogs are permitted on rental pontoons for a rate of $10/rental HR *Price includes hourly rate and gas only. Tax is not included. Each boat holds up to 10 passengers. All pontoon boat rentals include life jackets, safety instructions, and a lake map.
