When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Friday, October 16, 2026 at Camp Desmond in Newaygo, Michigan. Ceremony starts at 4 PM. We would like guests to be arrived and seated no later than 3:45PM. Please note Michigan is Eastern Standard Time - so plan accordingly!

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend checking our lodging page for local hotel blocks and Airbnb suggestions. Shuttles will be provided from main lodging locations. Please call to book your reservation to take advantage of the room block rate.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! We’ll provide shuttles to/from the venue for major lodging areas. Parking on-site is limited. We highly recommend getting a rental car for transportation to and from the airport, as Rideshare is not available.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) in Grand Rapids, MI is about an hour away. Please check out our Travel tab for more information about travel and lodging!

What’s the weather like in October?

Answer

Expect 50–65°F. The ceremony and reception are outdoors under a tent, so bring a layer just in case!

I have dietary restrictions—can you accommodate?

We’ll do our best! Please let us know on your RSVP if you have allergies or restrictions.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration (exceptions made for nursing infants or family members as discussed).

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” absolutely! Otherwise, we kindly ask that you attend solo so we can stay within our guest count.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 21, 2026. We appreciate your early response! *While final RSVP's are due next year, we are requesting a tentative RSVP to help us plan accordingly. You can always change prior to the final RSVP date.*
