FAQs

The Wedding Website of Stephen Price and Nicole Jackson
For inquiring minds... #ThePriceIsRight
Question

What's the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

We recommend using Google Maps instead of Apple Maps to get to the venue. Apple Maps leads you to the back of the property and it is really difficult to turn yourself around as the roads are rather narrow out there, but is a lengthy detour otherwise.

Question

How do I confirm my plans to attend?

Answer

There is an "RSVP" page on the menu bar for this site. Once there, enter your name and your RSVP details-- as well as everyone else in your household-- should appear. You will be able to confirm the rest of your party's RSVP status on the page that prompts you to enter your email, just scroll down a bit and you will be able to manage your guests and confirm their attendance. If you are unable to find the RSVP page on this site, try visiting https://www.zola.com/wedding/stephenandnicoleaugust13/rsvp directly. If you are still unable to RSVP, please get in touch with the bride or groom at (713) 417-3996 (N) or (832) 341-9281 (S) to register manually.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Check your RSVP to see if you're allowed a guest. If other guests are included in your listing, you may bring a plus one. If you would like to bring any guests beyond what has been allotted for you, please ask the couple first.

Question

Can I bring my kid(s)?

Answer

If they are included in your RSVP, sure. Please use your best judgement when deciding whether or not to bring them-- it is a long event, there is a lake at our venue, and there likely will not be too many kid-specific activities. Parties with unattended or rowdy children will be asked to leave.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We have decided to do a cash registry for our wedding to help fund our honeymoon expenses and any excess will be saved for a down payment on our first home.

Question

Are there ways to contribute to the cash fund outside of this website?

Answer

Absolutely! We will happily accept cash or checks, and will even have a box for cards and cash/checks located on top of the piano in the bar room for physical gifts the day of the wedding. We also plan to have our bank account's Zelle QR code readily available if you'd like to send us a gift directly!

Question

Is it OK if I don't make a contribution to the cash registry?

Answer

While donations are welcome (and needed), your presence at the wedding is most important to us. Please don't skip the wedding if you can't contribute. You can always give us a heartfelt card expressing your well wishes.

Question

What is the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 15th, 2023.

Question

Will the ceremony be held outside or inside?

Answer

Save for an act of divine intervention where the temperature outside is not scorching, the wedding will almost assuredly be held inside.

Question

Will there be assigned seating at the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely! By taking the time to be thoughtful about where everyone should sit, we hope to provide a more joyful & meaningful experience for everyone. Once all RSVPs have been received and guests are locked in, we will add a seating chart tab to this site and message everyone the link once that is available. We will also have a physical chart at the event.

Question

How early should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 15-30 minutes early to be seated on time.

Question

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available for free at the venue.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will be serving beer, wine and a few specialty drinks.

Question

Will Barley or Simon be attending?

Answer

Unfortunately, our fur babies can't make it as they have other arrangements for the day, but they send their regards.
