Travel Note
U.S. and Canadian citizens require a visa to enter Vietnam. You can obtain an e-visa online for stays of 30 days or less. Make sure to check the latest visa requirements before booking your flight. The website for getting an e-visa is included below by clicking 'view'. The processing time for a visa can take anywhere from 3 to 7 business days and the cost is $25. You'll need to decide if you want a single entry visa, or multiple entry visa. Be sure to double check everything that you submit to ensure it isn't rejected! Some of the fields like names and dates are in a different format than what's typical in the US.
Flight
There aren't many direct flights from the US to Da Nang, so we recommend having a stopover somewhere else in Asia as it will both save you money and give you a chance to visit another country. Here are a list of the cities with direct flights into Da Nang: Tokyo, Japan (Narita Airport) Seoul, South Korea (Incheon Airport) Taipei, Taiwan (Taoyuan Airport) Hong Kong (Hong Kong International Airport) Singapore (Changi Airport) Bangkok, Thailand (Suvarnabhumi Airport) Manila, Philippines (Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport) Otherwise if you'd like to see more of Vietnam, fly into either Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City and catch a short flight on Vietnam Airlines to Da Nang. Do not fly on Vietjet!! They deal with a ton of delays, cancellations, etc. Believe us, the small savings is not worth the headache.

Travel Note
Once on the ground, Grab is Vietnam’s version of Uber, is easy to use and provides more reliable pricing than a taxi. If you do get a taxi in Vietnam, make sure to negotiate the price beforehand but we really recommend using Grab instead. Download it before you go!
Hotel
Another great nearby hotel option - it's about a 25 minute Grab ride to the venue from this part of town.
