KC's iconic (and totally free!) art museum
KC's famous BBQ (Fun fact: Nicole's short-lived modeling/acting career culminated in starring--very fuzzily in the background, mind you--in a Jack Stack ad!)
Sneaking in a date-night in Kansas City? You've come to the right place! Enjoy Chef Ryan's creative take on meals from the US and around the world. (P.S. Our first date was here at Novel!)
Nicole was surprised to find the BEST French food (in her humble opinion, even better than the fancier French restaurants in LA, and with lower-than-Los-Angeles-prices to boot!) in a disarmingly quaint little room in Kansas City. Also a great date night spot.
Our family's go-to for an affordable Asian sit-down meal! Sosho and Nicole have lost count of the number of times they have frequented this restaurant.
For long walks. For short walks. For pickle ball. For tennis.
Nicole's favorite walking park! Meditative, peaceful, and inspired by and modeled after actual locations in Israel, it's a great park to unwind in and watch the gorgeous KC sunsets. Great for date nights and families with small children.
Arguably KC's most beloved park enjoyed by lovers, families with small children, etc.
A public and immaculately manicured large grassy triangle hosting outdoor summer games (large jenga blocks, colorful wooden benches, cornhole, etc.) for visitors, and surrounded by the cutest little boutiques, eateries, and an ice cream shop. Perfect for families with small children.
If you like your coffee incredibly smooth, creamy, wood-fired, and on the sweeter side, visit Summer Moon for their sweet take on creative coffee conceptions!
Everyone's Happy Place.
