What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is Cocktail attire. October in San Francisco can traditionally be warm during the day, but can cool off by the evenings, especially near the water, so bring layers!

Where is the ceremony being held?

Answer

The ceremony will be held indoors at Buddha's Universal Church aka "BUC", located on the outskirts of Chinatown in San Francisco. Fun note - Nicole's LARGE extended maternal family hand built the church brick by brick by members investing their own money, selling cookies on street corners, and holding annual bazaars to raise funds for the building of the church!

Where should we park for the ceremony?

Answer

There is street metered parking in and around Chinatown, but it can be hard to find. There are several paid parking lots around the area of the Church. The two closest parking lots are: Portsmouth Square Garage (across the street from Church) 733 Kearny St, San Francisco, CA 94108 Hilton Financial District Garage (catty corner from Church, parking lot entrance is on Washington Street) 750 Kearney St, San Francisco, CA 94108

What time will the ceremony begin?

Answer

The church ceremony will begin at 1:30pm and the doors will open at 12:30pm. The ceremony will last approximately 30mins.

Where is the reception being held?

Answer

The reception and cocktail hour will be held at Aracely Café in San Francisco on Treasure Island. This is just over 5 miles from the ceremony location! The Café has great outdoor space for cocktail hour and to enjoy throughout the evening. The reception will be held under a covered tent.

What time is the reception?

Answer

Cocktail hour will be held at Aracely Café starting at 5pm. The reception will follow from 6pm - 11pm, which will include dinner and dancing!

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venues?

Answer

While the reception location is only a few miles away, the easiest way to get to the reception is by car as it is located on Treasure Island off the exit in the middle of the Bay Bridge. There is much construction being held on Treasure Island as well as changes to the exit off the bridge, so please pay attention to the signs in order to not miss the exit or else you will have to drive back across the bridge once you hit Oakland. Please be mindful that traffic getting onto the Bay Bridge to the reception can be unpredictable based on different activities going on in SF. Upon arrival, there will be plenty of outdoor parking available at Aracely Café, but feel free to carpool with friends and family!

Can I bring a plus one and/or my kids?

While we are so fortunate to have such a large and loving community of friends and families, we can only accommodate the individuals specifically listed on each guests' invitation. We appreciate your understanding!
