Question

COVID

Answer

The health and safety of our guests is our highest priority. If anything changes or updates are necessary we'll capture them here. Please reference the VT state website for the most up to date announcements: https://www.healthvermont.gov/covid-19

Question

What are all these events?

Answer

One of the things we loved about visiting Trailside in the past is that it allows plenty of opportunities for people to slow down and connect. Weddings typically bring many people together from near and far, but unless you're sitting at the same table you probably don't get much time to interact with all these people you love. Let's be blunt - weddings are expensive and we want to see you more than just the obligatory newlywed rounds during the reception! That's why we've pulled together tasty food, a fun band, a great location, and of course, CAKE, during a beautiful time of year in New England. We hope you can join us for all the fun we have planned!

Question

Help, I can't book a room at Trailside Inn!

Answer

Did you use the code 'sept25'? The inn is blocked for outside guests during this time and can only be booked by using this code. Please note the hotel has a 2 night minimum. The max capacity of the Inn is smaller than our guest list - if you plan to attend all wedding events please try to stay here to limit unnecessary travel. If you will only be attending some events please try to save this space for others and look into nearby hotel or rental options.

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

While we're pretty casual, the wedding itself will be cocktail attire. Feel free to dress comfy and casual for all other weekend events.

Question

Did you say BYOB?

Answer

Sort of - we've got you covered for Saturday's reception (although tipping your bartender is appreciated), Friday's Welcome Dinner and Saturday's After Party are both BYOB.

Question

Shoes

Answer

The Welcome Dinner, Ceremony, and Cocktail Hour will all be held on grass and some areas have a slight incline or decline. We encourage you to wear whatever will get you out on the dancefloor when you arrive at the reception.

Question

Can my significant other/kid/dog come?

Answer

Your invitation will be addressed to those that are invited and we respectfully ask that you do not bring anyone that has not been included. As much as we love your kids (and likely your dog) we hope this weekend can be a fun getaway for parents with no additional responsibilities. If this poses a significant burden for you please let us know as we really want you there to celebrate our special day.

Question

I'm allergic to a, b, c, and I try not to eat z if I can help it.

Answer

Chances are we already have a pretty good idea that you have some restrictions but please follow up to ensure we know the full extent and have the most up to date information. We hope to allow all of our guests to enjoy the weekend as much as they can but a couple snacks stashed in your room are never a bad idea for anyone.

For all the days along the way
