What is the attire for the reception?

Answer

Summer Casual. The event will take place in the backyard at Sean’s family’s lake house in August. It may be hot, so dressy shorts, sundresses, sandals, even bare feet are fine by us.

Should We Bring Gifts?

Answer

First, we're really just trying to have a party and gifts are not required. If you do want to get us a gift, we have put some things on the registry which will be shipped to our house. As we are still decorating our home, any sort of handmade art or personal item would be meaningful as well. Also, gift cards are always useful, especially for Home Depot or Lowes. If those aren't what you had in mind and you still want to get us something consider having it shipped to our house after the party. Petty much anything we get will have to be mailed anyway since we are traveling from the west coast.

My invite wasn’t addressed for a guest or +1. Can I bring someone?

Answer

Yes! We’d love to have the people important to you join in the celebrating. Please include their name on the RSVP postcard or just let us know!

What's going on with the ceremony?

Answer

It's important to us to have a small, intimate ceremony and this is something we've decided to stick with. We will be having it at a scenic overlook nearby. However, we are excited to celebrate our marriage and couldn't do it without you joining us at the reception.
