Though not a major tourist attraction, Huntington Beach in Bay Village is a great place to watch the sun set over Lake Erie or go for a swim in the lake.
The downtown area along the Cuyahoga River is knows as 'The Flats' where lots of amazing and scenic restaurants are located. There isn't shopping in The Flats and the river banks become an party scene at night--fun bars and clubs. The Flats are kid & family friendly during the day. The West Bank has an aquarium.
Clevelands public market! A 100+ year old beautiful building filled with food stands. This Cleveland gem is a favorite for shopping for meats, produce, and pastries. We recommend eating at Town Hall next to the West Side Market if you are looking for a larger meal.
Nicole's favorite!! A BEAUTIFUL museum where one can spend a hours enjoying it's vast collection. Admission is free though special exhibits will have a charge. There is also a yummy restaurant in the museum.
The Rock & Roll Hall Museum is located on Lake Erie in downtown Cleveland. Outside on the lake side of the muse across the small harbor is a Cleveland script sign to pose and take a post card-like photo.
Great for kids! Located next to the Rock Hall. The museum is very interactive and has a six story surround movie theater.
Lolly the Trolley offers couple sightseeing tours through Cleveland. Trolley pick-up location is in the West Bank of the Flats.
The Nautical Queen is a river and short lake cruise that offers views of Cleveland from the water. Pick-up location is in the West Bank of the Flats. Another boat option is the Goodtime III. Pick-up location is near the Rock Hall (https://goodtimeiii.com/site/)
Crocker Park is a lively outdoor shopping area tons of restaurants, stores, and a movie theater. The Hyatt hotel where out of town guests will be staying is located at Crocker Park.
On Thursday (July 18) night the Detroit Tigers and on Friday (July 19) the Chicago Whitesox are in town. The ballpark is located downtown Cleveland. Getting tickets could be difficult if the Indians are on a winning streak. Travel time will be 30 minutes from the Hyatt.
