Nicole and Samantha met during their sophomore year at Emory University in Biology class. Nicole an aspiring marine biologist and Samantha a hopeful environmental scientist joined a study group and became fast friends. One night while studying for a midterm, Samantha asked Nicole if she would like to "hang out sometime." Nicole agreed and the rest is history. Their very first date was at the Georgia Aquarium. Nicole immediately knew that Samantha was the person she would spend forever with. Their shared passion for wildlife, the environment, and conservation efforts has led to an unbreakable bond. The Georgia Aquarium has remained their favorite date spot and they continue to visit every year. Following graduation, they landed their dream jobs and moved to the Gulf Coast. Six years after their first date, Nicole proposed to Samantha on the beach in sunny Florida and she emphatically said YES! As planning for their big day began, one thing they never disagreed on was where they would exchange vows.
