When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive before 3pm because the doors to the Basilica close at 3pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

California semi-formal is suggested. Think elegant and sensible clothing with a sense of whimsy.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking at each. The Basilica is five-to-ten-minute walking distance from Mission Ranch. If you like to walk, you could leave your car at Mission Ranch and walk back and forth. Do not leave the car at the Basilica because after evening mass (5:30 pm) they will close the gate

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are several hotels in the area, I would suggest staying close because at night Carmel-by-the-Sea has hardly any streetlights. Other nearby locations that are fun and not too far: Pacific grove, Monterey, Pebble beach.

Please let us know if you have any food allergies, we can make changes to the dinner options to accommodate your allergy.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, it is a very short walk and there is plenty of parking.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We may plan some other small events, please let us know when you will be coming in so we can get together (maybe picnic by the beach, breakfast, etc.)
