Question

How far is Granby from Denver?

Answer

From the Denver Airport to Aparahoe Valley Ranch, it will take approximately 2.5 hours to drive there. The good part: it will be beautiful! :)

Question

How do I book a cabin? And how much will it cost?

Answer

You do not need to book anything if you are staying in the cabins! We have all cabins booked. You will more than likely be splitting a cabin with other friends or families. Good thing we all love each other! The brief math we did as of now, it will cost each person approximately $200 for three nights. We will let you know how to go about this after we meet with the venue staff in July. Airbnb and VRBO is very popular in Granby! If you are not staying at the cabins, sharing with another friend/family will help keep costs down!

Question

Are you getting married at the ranch?

Answer

We are not sure where the ceremony with be yet. But our dinner/party will be at the ranch! We will know more in July when we visit, however there is a good chance we could pick a spot off site with a good view! We will do out best to accommodate to everyone. No hiking shoes or backpacks will be necessary. :)

Question

What's the itinerary?

Answer

The wedding is October 19th. That's really all we know for certain! I do plan to do a dinner Friday evening (our version of rehearsal) and we can go over the day. I will update this and plan to post the schedule somewhere at the ranch. Please do not feel obligated to do anything you do not want to do! We appreciate you coming to celebrate our Rocky Mountain wedding, we are just happy to hang with you that day! Some might want to hike 15 miles one day, some might want to nap in a hammock. We love that for you! Robbie and I will have a schedule of things we would like to do over the weekend. We will also probably want to do a couple thing alone or with the kids, so we will communicate that with all of you.

Question

Sunday Funday?

Answer

Go Pack Go, baby!! Bring something green and gold for Sunday (except you, Rich... you're not invited haha). The large "Gold Home" is rented for our family and we plan to do some sort of Packer party before people start to fly out. That way, Robbie and I can hug you a bunch and tell you how much we appreciate you helping us pull off a destination wedding in 3 months. Seriously, if we forget to tell you, we're so grateful and love you all so much.

Question

What days will the bride and groom be at the ranch? In Colorado?

Answer

We plan on driving to take advantage of a road trip opportunity. We will definitely be at the ranch Wednesday night and Sunday night in addition to the three nights. Everything else is up in the air.

Question

Can I stay at the ranch an extra night?

Answer

If your flight is not on Thursday, or Sunday, let us know and we can book the cabin you're staying in for another night if you would like. I.e. Wednesday night or Sunday night if you plan to fly out Monday instead.

For all the days along the way
