Which is just how we like it! After many travels and attempts at going elsewhere, we have accepted Florida as the place for us. This is our home, with our friends and (much of) our family and we can't wait to welcome you to be a part of it. Our wedding ceremony and reception will take place at Benvenuto Restaurant in Boynton Beach, FL on March 10, 2022 and we so look forward to celebrating here with you! We promise you won't be disappointed with what Florida has to offer ;) Love, Nicole & Paul
We met on October 29, 2018 at a Shabbat dinner in Miami. Paul went as a wing-man to one of his good friends hoping to meet a nice Jewish girl, and Nicole was hoping to make some new Jewish friends in Miami since everyone she knew up until that point was Hindu (you know how much Nicole loves yoga). At the end of Shabbat dinner, Paul asked Nicole for her last name and said he would, "Look her up on Facebook." Nicole thought that was pretty lame, but he had such a nice smile, and he mentioned he meditated, so she agreed. Two days later, when Paul (finally) Facebook friended Nicole, she asked him to get togoetyher for coffee the next time he came to Miami. Paul called Nicole 5 minutes later, they went on their first date later that week and the rest is history! Since then, they have gotten to know and love one another, have traveled the world together, moved across the country and back together, and become the soul-mates both always longed for. Their friends have often said of them, "Never was there a pair better suited for one another." Amen! We are thrilled to make our relationship official and begin our journey as husband and wife on March 10, 2022 and we look forward to celebrating with you!
If you've met Paul, you know nothing can stop him. Paul proposed in July 2020, just a week after having major sinus surgery and a few months into Covid. He planned the most wonderful surprise engagement party on the beach, just a few hours after proposing privately at our favorite restaurant, Luff's Fish House, in Boca Raton. The Engagement party was so wonderful, it's held us over for a year and a half. Paul also designed the engagement ring on his own (with a little help from his friends when it came to choosing the diamond!). He found the antique setting on a website and immediately upon seeing it, he knew it was the ring for Nicole. He called the jeweler immediately and found out that the store was literally minutes away from their home in Boca Raton. How B'shert! Paul rushed over to the store to buy the ring. Because of its age, it needed a few modifications (like a new diamond!), but because of Covid, the diamond bursas around the world all shut down for months and Paul couldn't do anything to the ring! When the diamond centers reopened in June 2020, Paul was ready and waiting. He picked up the ring just a few days before proposing (he told Nicole he was taking his son grocery shopping!). Nicole had no idea what Paul was up to - and the engagement remained a complete, wonderful, surprise!
