We technically met when we were toddlers, but of course neither of us can remember that far back. Our earliest memories of each other start around 4 or 5 years old playing tag at church. Throughout our childhood we would meet at various mutual events, choir performances, church plays, etc. In 2012 Nicole started attending the same church as Paul and running in all the same friend groups. In middle school/high school we became best friends. We were each other's confidant through highs and lows. Long story short, we have been BEST friends through some pretty insane storms of life. And in November 2023 we both finally admitted to the deep love that we've always shared. We like to joke about a memory way back in 2014 when through a funny set of circumstances all our friends teased Paul saying "when are you going to pop the question, Paul?" and making all sorts of jokes about us getting married meant to embarrass us. Now we joke that the answer to that question was "10 years from now." <3 So here we are ten years later, best friends through everything, ready to take on all the rest of the decades we have left... together.
