This hotel is in the heart of Garden City and is walking distance to shops, restaurants, the Ceremony, and the Garden City LIRR station. Shuttle service will be provided from the Garden City Hotel to and from the reception. If you're interested in staying here, we recommend booking sooner rather than later to secure the lowest rate! It is a bit pricier than the blocks below, FYI. Distance to Church: 4 minutes; Distance to Venue: 22 minutes

Shuttles will be provided ONLY from the Garden City Hotel and the Marriott. Shuttles will depart from each hotel at 5:40pm to Old Westbury Golf Club. Shuttles will then depart Old Westbury Golf Club at 11:45pm, with two stops: first, to the after party at Sparrow, and second, to the GC Hotel / Marriott. The shuttle will provide service to the Reception, back to either hotel after the Reception ends, or to the After Party from the Reception. There will be no shuttle service after the After Party, however, Uber/Lyft are available, and the After Party is walking distance to the Garden City Hotel and LIRR train station. Uber/Lyft are available in the area if you choose to stay at the Hyatt Place, Hilton Garden Inn, or somewhere else nearby.

Ceremony: There is a large, free parking lot across the street from the Church. Reception: Complimentary valet parking will be available. Hotels: Each hotel includes free parking.

Flight

Nearby Airports

Long Island has 3 main airports - JFK (Howard Beach, Queens), LaGuardia (East Elmhurst, Queens), and MacArthur (Islip, LI). JFK & LaGuardia are about 30-40 minutes from Garden City and MacArthur is about 40-50 minutes away. JFK is the best for international flights, while LaGuardia is more convenient for domestic flights. The MacArthur airport is much smaller and is further east on Long Island but is another option to consider if JFK/LGA don't have the preferred flight. Traffic traveling from JFK or LGA can be heavy depending on the time of your flight arrival. Each airport will have Uber/Lyft/Rental Car access, and JFK connects to the LIRR for convenient access to Garden City.

Train

Long Island Rail Road (LIRR)

The Long Island Rail Road is a super convenient way to travel to Garden City from the NYC area. The two closest stations to most of the weekend's events are Garden City and Mineola. The Garden City LIRR station is across the street from the Garden City Hotel and is also about a 10 minute walk to the Ceremony. Trains to Garden City from Penn Station/Grand Central in NYC run about once an hour on the weekends. While the Garden City station is a little more central to this weekend's events, the Mineola station will offer many more train times and is only a ~5 min drive to the Ceremony or Garden City Hotel. Certain LIRR routes require a transfer at Jamaica Station - keep an eye out for that! The closest station to the Reception is the Greenvale LIRR station which is about a 10 minute drive away. Uber/Lyft are available in the area.

Amtrak

While there is no Amtrak station on Long Island, Amtrak can be taken to Penn Station in NYC which connects to the LIRR.
