Question

What time should I arrive on the wedding day?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue between 4:00 - 4:30PM. The ceremony will start at 5PM and we wouldn't want anyone missing the ceremony. Note that there is heavy construction less than a mile from the venue and there can be delays up to 45 mins! Be sure to give yourself additional time to arrive at the venue.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the limited space available at our venue and our wishes, we are NOT allowing guest whom have received invitations to extend their own invites to plus ones. If you ignore this request and come with a plus one, you both will be asked to leave.

Will there be an open bar? Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

Yes and No. There will be beer and wine only. Hard alcohol is not permitted on the resort grounds and anyone who brings outside alcohol will be asked to leave by the venue. We have purchased a selected amount of alcohol and if we run out, you can still purchase drinks from the venue.

What should I wear the wedding?

Answer

The weather will most likely be very hot, so please dress accordingly. Summer dresses for the women and business casual, polos, collared short sleeve shirts or button-ups (please no jeans) for the men. Please do not wear blue or white.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

For many reasons including limited space and the venue location we are not allowing kids.

Can I stay at the venue?

Answer

Overnight Venue accommodations have been reserved for selected family and bridal party members. Please refer to the Travel page to see recommendations for places to stay!

Will there be dancing?

Answer

Yes!! Keep in mind that the ceremony and reception area is all grass. Please wear appropriate shoes.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Most likely very HOT! Please wear clothing that you are comfortable in (and conforms with our dress code wishes). We are expecting to see cooler temperatures after 5:30PM given the river breeze and the evening cool-down.

Where is the closest city from the venue?

Answer

Redding is the closest city which is about an hour and half drive. Weaverville is the closest town which is only a 30 min drive.
