To help with planning, we kindly ask that you RSVP as provided on your formal invitation. If you are having any trouble using the RSVP function on the website, please contact Nicole or Mitch as soon as you can. Unfortunately, if we do not receive an RSVP by the deadline we will mark you as 'not attending'. We will definitely miss you on our big night but we do need to finalise guest count for the vendors. We cannot make any exceptions. We hope you understand!
We'd love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day! Dress code is cocktail/semi-formal attire, however please be comfortable! No tie is required (unless you want), but please no jeans/track pants. Please also avoid colours traditionally reserved for the bride. This includes white, ivory or cream colours. We recommend wearing flat shoes, wedges, or low chunky heels as this is a farm property. There is a short walk between the parking areas and ceremony areas, so please be mindful. If you have any questions or want some opinions on attire, feel free to reach out
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
As much as we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of babies under 12 months, the wedding party and family. We hope you understand and enjoy your night out without the kids! The venue is approximately 1.5 hours from Melbourne if you plan to head home early.
There will be bus service offered into town. Please see the RSVP page to express interest.
There are a few local options for accommodation including: The Heathcote Inn Serenity Glamping Park The Cellars at Heathcote AirBNB There is also plenty of room for camping on the property! However, there will not be access to the house on the day/night of the wedding. Other close by towns include Bendigo, Axedale, Redesdale and Kyneton. We are only 1.5 hours from Melbourne CBD.
Your presence at the wedding is enough and a gift is not necessary. We already have everything we could ever need, so we will not be setting up a registry. However, if you wish to gift us something, we would greatly appreciate a contribution towards our dream honeymoon. Any contribution towards our honeymoon will help us with hotels, airfares, food and excursions that we would love to do but may not be able to afford.
Our ceremony will be an 'unplugged ceremony'. This means NO phones or devices. We ask that all our guests follow this. You will have an opportunity to take photos at a given time during the ceremony per our officiant. We are hiring professional photographers, videographers (and a drone!) to be take photos and recording our ceremony and we would like to avoid any phones or devices in the background of said photos. We strongly encourage our guests to take photos and videos during the reception!
