While the Mass has been and continues to be celebrated in many forms, the Traditional Latin Mass has been celebrated by the Church since the 1500s. All of the music, prayers and readings will be said in Latin. Our Mass program will help you to follow along. Please only receive communion if you are a practicing Catholic in full communion with the Catholic Church.
We recommend arriving at the ceremony no later than 1:15pm, unless you want to walk down the aisle with the bride!
The dress code is black-tie optional. Tuxes and gowns are encouraged but suits and cocktail dresses are welcome!
At St. Rita's, there is a dedicated lot adjacent to the Church. At Congressional, we will have multiple valets available at the main entrance to park your car.
There is a short gap between our wedding Mass and reception to allow time for bridal portraits before the winter sun sets. Nicole's favorite thing to do during wedding gaps is find a cute coffee shop to catch up with her friends in between the festivities! (also to caffeinate for the dancing) Some of her favorites in the area are Junction & Bakery, Mae's Marketplace, St. Elmo's, and Rogennart's, all located between 5-15 minutes from St. Rita's. More details can be found on our Things to Do page.
Michael would like everyone to know he was forced to delete most of his jokes by Zola's strict character limit and Nicole insisted on keeping parts that "mattered".
