When should I RSVP by?

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is summer formal. No need to pack a full suit! Think midi or maxi dresses for women, and dress pants with button-down shirts for men. Jackets and ties are totally optional. ___ El código de vestimenta es summer formal. ¡No hace falta que lleves traje completo! Pensá en vestidos midi o largos para las mujeres, y pantalones de vestir con camisa para los hombres. Sacos y corbatas son totalmente opcionales.

Is there transportation to the wedding?

Answer

Yes, transporation will be provided to and from the venue from the Palma City Centre/historical area. The location pick ups will be confirmed at a later time! Parking is available onsite if you have rented a car and wish to drive. ___ Se va a brindar transporte hacia y desde el lugar del evento desde el centro de Palma. ¡Los puntos de encuentro para el transporte se confirmarán más adelante! Hay estacionamiento disponible en el lugar si alquilaste un auto y querés manejar.

When should I arrive in Palma

Answer

We recommend arriving in Palma by Wednesday, May 27th. We intentionally chose the week of Memorial Day (Monday, May 25th) - the perfect excuse to take a few extra days off and explore the stunning island of Mallorca! Since most flights to Palma are overnight (redeyes), giving yourself at least 24 hours to rest and recharge before the celebrations begin will make all the difference. ✨ ___ Recomendamos llegar a Palma el miércoles 27 de mayo. Elegimos intencionalmente la semana del Memorial Day (lunes 25 de mayo) — ¡la excusa perfecta para tomarte unos días extra y explorar la hermosa isla de Mallorca! Do I need a passport?

Answer

YES! Please also ensure that your passport is valid for at least ~six months~ beyond your travel date. You'll need an online ETIAS clearance by visiting the official ETIAS website. The fee is €7 for adults, and minors or seniors are exempt. ___ ¡SÍ! También asegurate de que tu pasaporte sea válido por al menos seis meses después de la fecha de tu viaje. What type of food will be served? Is there an open bar?

Answer

We will be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner. There will be a full open bar available. ___ Durante la hora del cóctel serviremos aperitivos, seguido de una cena sentados. Habrá barra libre con todo incluido.

Can we bring children?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome! We’ll have professional nannies available at the venue, so please let us know the number of children attending by the RSVP date. ___ ¡Sí, los niños son bienvenidos! Can we have our phones out for photos?

Answer

If you're booking a connecting flight into Palma, allow 2.5 to 3 hours between your landing and your flight to Mallorca to comfortably make your connection. United Airlines offers a direct flight from Newark (EWR) to Palma (PMI) for a more seamless trip. ~Currency ~ Spain uses the euro (€). You can exchange currency at your bank before your trip to avoid airport fees. While most places accept credit cards, it’s smart to carry a few smaller bills and coins - especially for taxis, buses, or small shops, as they may not have change for larger bills. ~Getting Around Mallorca~ Renting a car? Book in advance! Be sure to contact your hotel ahead of time to reserve parking, as many places have limited space and can't guarantee a spot without prior notice. Within Palma, taxis are easy to find and typically more affordable than Ubers. Planning to explore beyond the city? Please consider renting a car or pre-arranging transportation. The island is beautiful but anything outside the Palma City Centre requires a car! ~Electronics~ Spain uses Type C and F outlets (European-style plugs). Make sure to bring an adapter, Amazon has plenty of reliable options. ~Credit Cards & Cash~ Most places are credit card-friendly, but be sure to notify your bank before you travel to avoid any transaction issues. ~Tipping Culture~ Tipping in Spain isn’t expected, but it’s always appreciated for excellent service. A small amount (5–10%) is perfectly fine when you want to show gratitude.
